Full Time Keyholder Position Available!
We are seeking a motivated, personable, responsible, outgoing and friendly individual with managerial and customer service experience and a passion for board games to join our team!
The full time position does require being Smart Serve certified, having a current City of Hamilton Food Handler’s Certificate and a minimum 3 years of customer service, server or barista experience.
Front of House – You will be responsible with greeting customers, ringing through purchases, answering questions over the phone and in person about our services and merchandise. You must be comfortable talking to customers regarding their orders, comments, and complaints. Stellar customer service skills are a must!
Barista – You will be responsible for preparing a variety of specialty coffee orders for customers, such as espresso drinks, as well as various other hot and cold beverages. All beverages must be prepared to quality standards and completed efficiently.
Food & Beverage Server – You will be responsible for taking menu orders from customers, addressing any menu-related questions and promptly serving all customers. You will also be communicating with kitchen staff to ensure food orders are prepared quickly and accurately. You will also be responsible for serving alcohol, making mixed drinks and checking customer IDs.
Board Game Enthusiast – A passion for board games is a must! You will need a strong grasp of various board games to recommend, teach and answer customer questions. You must be open-minded and willing to learn new board games from a variety of genres.
Keyholder Duties – You will be responsible for opening and closing the store, administering returns and completing daily paperwork as well as leading and dividing tasks among co-workers.
